Hello all, I am a swimming pool builder in Streetsville / Mississauga and was just about to contact a local dive shop with regards to lessons/certification. Apart from using scuba gear to do the odd repair at work, recreational diving is what i would be after. Does the lic association mater? Any advice on these maters would save me a lot of leg work! I am ready to go NOW. I will be kite surfing on lake huron in 2 weeks and was thinking to scoot up to tobermoray and dive. Cheers MARK

Hi Mark - the certifying agency does not really matter. I have certifications from SSI, NAUI, IANTD, PADI and the quality of the courses all depended on the instructors. All agencies accept each other's open water certifications so you are not tied to any agency after you get certified.
