Introduction

Finding other divers in Toronto and promote diving

What type of diving do you like to do (cold water, warm water, wreck, cave, etc.) and where would you like to go in the future?

Technicolor reefs & ominous walls. Up for murkier water, fresh water, wrecks and cold water.

What was the date of your initial certification (month/year)?

09/04

What dive association(s) do you belong to (i.e., NAUI, PADI, SSI, TDI, etc.), what is your highest level of certification, and how many logged dives do you have? (If you're new and have never been diving, that's great too, tell us why you're here):

Rescue Diver, certifications with IANTD, NAUI and PADI. 103 dives and counting!

How did you find out about us (craigslist, google, scubaboard, meetup.com, etc. Please don't skip this question, it really helps us!)?

    Diving Ontario in 2010

"Some worry more about cold than others ;). I would not go out today with a double 7mm for example. Going under the second thermocline in Dutch Springs, NJ at 10C was already borderline cold for me!..."

    Diving Ontario in 2010

"All - let's start planning local diving for this year. ... MoreWe'd love to dive in the following places: - Tobermory (colder and deeper, likely more later in the season) - Closeby Quarry for a Saturday or Sunday (earlier in the season, likely to be warmer) - Lake Ontario (it's right there!) - 1000 Islands. Can be earlier in the season, it's a warmer location. We are thinking of combining this with and advanced course. Anyone experience with water temperatures and an idea when these sites are warm enough to do with a wetsuite? Share your thoughts! "
