Introduction
I'm Greg, just putting the 'feelers' out there for when i'm fully certified. I get out snorkeling every chance i get on vacation - and am quite looking forward to my open water certification.
What type of diving do you like to do (cold water, warm water, wreck, cave, etc.) and where would you like to go in the future?
I'm looking forward to some warm water diving down south (be it Key Largo, or Roatan) and once I 'meet up' with some local divers who don't mind 'mentoring' a beginner - i'd like to explore what Ontario has to offer.
What was the date of your initial certification (month/year)?
Haven't completed my open water quite yet... but will have class and pool done in January. I'll be taking a referral in the warm water in February if all goes well!
What dive association(s) do you belong to (i.e., NAUI, PADI, SSI, TDI, etc.), what is your highest level of certification, and how many logged dives do you have? (If you're new and have never been diving, that's great too, tell us why you're here):
Soon to be PADI OW. My plan is to jump right into Advanced open water.
How did you find out about us (craigslist, google, scubaboard, meetup.com, etc. Please don't skip this question, it really helps us!)?
