Introduction

GREAT!! i've gone diving a few times on holidays and was looking to get certified.

What type of diving do you like to do (cold water, warm water, wreck, cave, etc.) and where would you like to go in the future?

I am a newbie with an open mind.

What was the date of your initial certification (month/year)?

I AM NOT CERTIFIED . I would like to get started asap,

What dive association(s) do you belong to (i.e., NAUI, PADI, SSI, TDI, etc.), what is your highest level of certification, and how many logged dives do you have? (If you're new and have never been diving, that's great too, tell us why you're here):

    I have now looked at your skiing pics again with a discerning eye....you know, now that I too own a Descente jacket/pants, Icebreaker warmers and oh ya, I'm the proud recipient of a NEW SET OF FISCHER VAPOUR SKIIS!!! ;) {We will just leave it at that!} Woo hooo...

    Ask them about their under-ice winter wetsuit dives!! Yikes! Great stories about them swimming under areas that have been cleared and making faces at the kids playing hockey up through the ice!

    Hey Mark - welcome to the group! I agree with Stevey. Find a shop and instructor you feel comfortable with and ideally people have good experiences with. My girlfirend had good experiences doing her Open Water certification with www.aquariusscuba.com.
